Doing Good™ is dedicated to empowering the underserved to help others and contribute to a world-changing cycle of good. Through monetary support, feature stories, volunteer opportunities, and much more, we are taking back our world by doing good and making a difference in others’ lives.
In 2009, The Stafford Foundation took a long look at the its work and realized that despite its successes, something was missing.
The Stafford Foundation (TSF) was already connecting charitable organizations with people who wanted to help. But TSF realized that it had the potential to provide even more support with a farther reach, particularly for individuals who wanted to do good and make a difference themselves. TSF turned this realization into an idea, then a practice, all resulting in The Doing Good™ Campaign.
In addition to connecting people and organizations, Doing Good™ expands the scope of The Stafford Foundation by encouraging everyone to get out and make a difference. By investing in programs to help the underserved, the campaign enables all people to continue their service work, start helping others, and make a positive impact on both their own lives and the lives of others. Some of the programs we have funded include: The Stafford Center, a facility providing education, job-training, a church, and an orphanage to people in need in West Africa; and the National Doing Good™ Scholarship, which offers financial aid to students who are using their education to make a difference in their communities.
In addition to these programs, Doing Good™ provides an online web portal specializing in all things good. The site features frequently-updated news stories of people’s good works around the world, as well as a Wall of Good to honor our campaign members as they give and continue to spread the good year-round.
Donating to The Stafford Foundation’s Doing Good™ Campaign is one of the most effective ways to ensure your money goes directly towards empowering others and making a lasting impact. Less than 10% of your total donation goes to administrative costs – the rest goes entirely to programs, partnerships, and service efforts that make Doing Good™ a positive reality for you and the people you serve!
